YWAM OC Kardia D.T.S operates as a branch of YWAM-AIIM and is under their direct spiritual covering. Dr. David E. Ross started YWAM-AIIM in 1987 with a vision inspired by the first cross-cultural church of Antioch in the book of Acts to connect many youth, young adults, and churches. YWAM-AIIM, also known as YWAM Pneuma Springs (Springs of the Spirit), is a Holy Spirit-filled community open to people of all races and nationalities, bound together to make Christ known to the whole world. AIIM is located in the beautiful foothills of the Cascadian Mountain range in Monroe, Washington.

With the same vision, Kardia D.T.S was established in 2023 and now offers a multicultural D.T.S to accommodate working adults, college students, and seminarians who want to be better equipped as disciples of Jesus Christ.

WHAT IS A D.T.S?

A YWAM Discipleship Training School (D.T.S) is an intensive 16-week program designed for students to become genuine disciples of Jesus Christ. Students will practice hearing the voice of God, discover their spiritual identity, and use their passion to make a significant impact on the world for Christ by renewing and transforming their hearts to be like God's heart. Kardia D.T.S training includes developing personal character, restoring an intimate relationship with God, and confirming one's calling by discovering their God-given gifts. Kardia D.T.S is committed to helping individuals become true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Kardia D.T.S is a heart-centered discipleship training school for all Christians seeking to grow deeper and closer to God. The heart is a powerful force that motivates our actions and shapes our thoughts and behavior. It can either lead us down a Godly path or a destructive one. Hence, we must be mindful of what we allow into our hearts; everything we do flows from it. Our D.T.S will directly challenge your heart to not be conformed to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of your heart.

Kardia D.T.S is in partnership with Faith International University (FIU). FIU is an accredited university located in Tacoma, Washington. Our partnership offers benefits to anyone who wants to use their D.T.S to pursue or continue their higher education. Scholarships are offered at both the undergraduate and graduate levels if the student pursues a degree at FIU. Additionally, students can receive up to 30 semester hours/45 quarter credit undergraduate hours or 12 semester/18 quarter graduate level credits upon graduation from our D.T.S program and enrollment into FIU.

Lecture Phase (16 Weeks)

Join a community focused on missions and experience personal growth through our classes held every Monday through Wednesday, running from March 3rd to June 18th, 2025.

With a goal of spiritual growth through mentorship and counsel, Kardia D.T.S emphasizes one-on-one discipleship. A D.T.S staff member will be walking with you throughout the entire lecture phase. It will be a wonderful opportunity to find a God-centered community and mentors.

Outreach Phase (2 Weeks)

During this phase, our D.T.S will be broken up into teams to serve God in the mission field. You will have a chance to discover your abilities as you serve people and share the Good News of Jesus Christ in the nation where God leads you.
